She was remanded until 16th September 2026 when she denied the charges.
According to the investigations, between 2024 and 2026, Seera, while employed by the Ministry of Education and Sports as a Head Teacher posted to Namisindwa Senior Secondary School, allegedly abused the authority of her office by irregularly charging students fees in contravention of the law and Government policy.

The prosecution alleges that the fees were unlawfully charged to students in a Government school, contrary to the provisions of the Education Act.
Her arrest and arraignment follow the continued “Expose the Corrupt” National Campaign spearheaded by the Minister of Local Government, Hon. Balaam Barugahara to strengthen accountability and address corruption in Local Governments.
