The Anti Corruption agencies are continously bringing their brains together to ensure the vice can be brought down.
During their high level meeting yesterday, Thursday 24,September, the Inter-Agency Forum for the Accountability Sector chaired by the Minister of State for Ethics and Integrity, Hon. Akello Rose Lilly Akello (MP) discussed avenues geared at how to fight Corruption.
The meeting discussed strategies to combat corruption and also reviewed the draft National Anti-Corruption Strategy 2026 - 2030.
In attendance were the IGG, Uganda police, the DPP, the State House Anti Corruption Unit, Ministry of ethics and intergrity,OAG, Leadership CodeT, PPDAUganda,HMU StateHouse, ThefiaU, ISO, ,mofped, Secretariat of Patriotism, URA Uganda and Minstry of Local Government.
Others include Ministry of ICT and National Guidance, Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, the Anti-Corruption Division of the High Court, the Governance and Security Programme Secretariat, the Attorney General’s Chambers and the Judicial and Education Service Commissions.
